Pilots operating for Ryanair have been elected as part of a new structure of the Ryanair Pilot Group (RPG) Council. With this move, the RPG is one step closer to being represented entirely by pilots working for the airline. Having been approved by an overwhelming majority of RPG Members, they will provide leadership and strategic direction for the year to come.

However, one of the major challenges for the elected Ryanair pilots remains the security of their employment now that they are working in the RPG Council. They will not reveal their identities until they believe that their employment will be protected. In the meantime, the RPG Interim Council will support them in this transition.
